Southwestern Sterling Silver Twist Bangle Bracelet

Lightweight sterling silver twisted bangle bracelet is unmarked and tests as sterling and has a width of about 4mm.  The opening across measures about 2 3/8 inches, making the inside circumference about 7.4 inches.  I have a 6 inch wrist but I cannot get this bracelet over my hand.  It weighs 7.9 grams and it is in great vintage condition.
